Review: Target Beauty Box
Hi guys!
So, I finally managed to get my hands on one of Target's monthly beauty boxes.
The boxes retail for $7 and are available online. They contain various beauty products and typically sell out pretty quickly.
You can purchase yours here.
What I really like about the boxes are how festive they are!
The box features blue and reds to help customers get in the spirit of the Fourth of July.
There's even a cute note in the box that features the same theme. The note also states that the items in the box are *trial* size items, and the full size items must be purchased either online or in store.
On the back of the note, there's a coupon for $3 off any beauty purchase of $15 or more that has to be redeemed by the end of July. Also, the note features a list of the products that are included with the box are listed. You can also view the contents of the box online before you make your purchase.
The box comes with eight items. These include Conair Cashmere Headwraps, Acure Day Cream, elf Illuminating Mist & Set, Neutrogena Makeup Removing Towelettes, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel, Secret Clear Gel Deodorant, John Freida Frizz Ease Touch Up Creme, and Que Bella Mud & Peel Off Mask Duo. After taking my photos, I noticed that the headwraps featured a $.50 coupon on the back.
I noticed target made an error & included a solid deodorant instead of a gel one. Since I don't use solid deodorants, I contacted their customer service department and was politely offered a $3 gift card to compensate for the mistake. Also, the headwraps were actually scunci brand and not Conair.
I'm impressed with all of the products included in the box, especially the face masks. The mud mask has a tingling feeling that takes some getting used to. The hydrating mask has a really strong scent, so be prepared for that is your sensitive to smells. Besides that, the products work really well. I'd definitely consider buying the full size version of these products.
Target's beauty boxes are a neat way to test out new beauty products. Also, they're so inexpensive! You get such a great deal with these boxes.
Thanks for reading,
Taylor
