Review: hush. - Kylie Burgundy & Bronze Palette Dupes!

Image
Hush is my first stop for any makeup dupes. The website offers a variety of makeup products, including eyeshadow palettes, foundations, and lipsticks. You also get free shipping on any orders purchased through the app. One of my favorite YouTubers, Jasmine ( JuicyJas on YouTube), uploaded a video featuring some products she purchased from Hush. One of the products was the Okalan Fancy Palette. These palettes come in a Burgundy & Bronze edition, similar to Kylie Cosmetics' Burgundy and Bronze palette. Anyone who knows me knows I am obsessed with Kylie. The picture she recently posted on Instagram of her and Stormi is currently my wallpaper lol. The only thing I'm not obsessed with when it comes to Kylie is the price of Kylie Cosmetics. The Burgundy & Bronze palette retail for $42 each. A total of $84 for both , plus shipping and handling. The Fancy palettes by Okalon retail for $16.50 for both . On Hush, these palettes are only sold as a set

DIY: Eyelash Lift At Home

Image
So, I stumbled upon this trend on YouTube of eyelash lifts at home. The results from multiple videos seemed pretty promising, and the kit used to perform the lift was relatively cheap, so I decided why not try it. For this DIY, I used the following things: • Silicone Head Disposable Mascara Wands (Set of 10 for $.77 on eBay ) • Meisheng Eyelash Curling Kit ($4.99 on eBay ) • Silicone Eyelash Perming Rods ($.99 on eBay ) • Duo Latex Free Eyelash Glue ($4.49 at Target) • Q-Tips So for a little over $11, you can curl your lashes at home as opposed to a traditional lash lift at a spa that can cost you $100+. The only downside of ordering from eBay is when your order internationally, shipping can take anywhere from about 18 to 25 days. This is what the kit looks like from the front and back: Here's a photo of the inside of the kit: The white rods that you see at the top can be used instead of the silicone rods, but they can be pretty uncomfortable and har

Wig Review: Sensationnel Fashion Wig Couture - Taraji

Image
I purchased this wig from SamsBeauty.com for $20.99. You can purchase it here . Sams Beauty is my go-to website when it comes to hair or makeup needs. Shipping is very quick, and they offer flat rate shipping of $4.99 as long as you spend $30 or more. This is what the unit's stock card looks like: As you can see, it comes in a wide variety of colors. I purchased mine in a #2. The unit offers a generous area of parting space. I did not have to tweeze my parting space. I only added powder to the part. You have the option to move your part further to the right or left since the wig offers an area of lace in the scalp area that is about an inch wide. The unit features a relatively wide comb in the front and back and also has adjustable straps. The unit is about 12" in length and is lightweight. It is definitely a good selection for spring or summer months. Here's a look at the wig from the side and back: The only con about third

Review: Kiss Lash Couture Faux Mink Lashes

Image
Hi guys! Kiss released a new collection of lashes called Lash Couture. These lashes are faux mink. This really attracted me to buy these since they're humane, as opposed to mink lashes. Also, they're really inexpensive. One pair retails for $5.95 online. I purchased mine from Madame Madeline. You can purchase yours at http://www.madamemadeline.com/online_shoppe/categories.asp?partner=tayymorgan These lashes can be worn up to 10 times. The lash band is knot free. The lashes claim to be "soft, seamless, and weightless." They also feature a stacked appearance since the lashes have multiple lengths and angles. I picked up a pair in Little Black Dress & Pitch. I love the look of these lashes once you put them on. The only issue was actually getting them on. It was a complete hassle! The lash band is incredibly thick, hard, and stiff. You can see how thick it is in this picture. The bands

Review: Target Beauty Box

Image
Hi guys! So, I finally managed to get my hands on one of Target's monthly beauty boxes. The boxes retail for $7 and are available online. They contain various beauty products and typically sell out pretty quickly. You can purchase yours here . What I really like about the boxes are how festive they are! The box features blue and reds to help customers get in the spirit of the Fourth of July. There's even a cute note in the box that features the same theme. The note also states that the items in the box are *trial* size items, and the full size items must be purchased either online or in store. On the back of the note, there's a coupon for $3 off any beauty purchase of $15 or more that has to be redeemed by the end of July. Also, the note features a list of the products that are included with the box are listed. You can also view the contents of the box online before you make your purchase. The box comes with eight
